The Chim-A-Lator line of chimney caps easily mounts to the top of a masonry fireplace with a simple screwdriver. Our premium stainless steel caps are made of 100% type 304 stainless steel for lifetime protection against rust and corrosion. All of Our caps are constructed of an 18-gauge expanded metal screen and a 16 gauge frame. Our galvanized caps are coated with a high-quality black powder coat finish to assure long-lasting beauty.

Therefore, BDM warrants its stainless steel cap to the original purchaser that this product is free, and will remain free, from manufacturer’s defects, rust, and corrosion for the LIFETIME of the product.

This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, repairs, or alterations outside our facilities or to lack of proper maintenance. Damage to a person or property is not covered by this warranty.If BDM’s stainless steel cap should show either rust, corrosion, Or a defect in fabrication, return to BDM, 5205 208th Street, Farmington, MN 55024, postage prepaid. Carefully pack the product to prevent damage in transit. Proof of purchase date must accompany the product. BDM will replace or repair, at the company’s expense, any part or parts that show rust, corrosion, or defects in fabrication.
